Iloilo City, the fast-rising prominent metropolis, the center of investment and one of the world’s most livable cities located in Western Visayas is on the verge of elevation. What used to be the 72-hectare old Iloilo airport in Mandurriao district will be phenomenally transformed into a mixed-use development by Megaworld Corporation, the country’s leading real estate company and township developer.
Iloilo Business Park is the biggest and largest township of Megaworld outside Luzon with over 35 billion investment. Steadfastly, the development is ongoing and keeps on growing as Ilonggos and future investors anticipate a leap for business opportunities, lifestyle elevation and expanding investment in the Visayas. Upon Entering the Iloilo Business Park, Megaworld Boulevard streaches towards the heart of the township as its main highway leading to other prominent buildings and structures. On the left side, will be the location of luxurious residential and condominium towers that include One Madison Place, Lafayette Park Square and The Palladium, the tallest tower in Western Visayas. All of these condominium towers exude classy and high-end lifestyle with extraordinary amenities for future residents. Right across the condominium towers is the Street of Festive Walk, considered as the longest walk-and-dine strip where posh restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques lined up in style. It replicates a European al fresco avenue for pleasure seekers.
On the right side of Megaworld Boulevard is the IBP McDonald’s, the world’s most popular fast food chain. Right next to it is the township’s shopping destination – the Festive Walk Mall. It will be the next biggest shopping mall in the region with an annex mall right across the street. Moving further, we can see BPO Buildings such as Two Global Center where multinational BPO company Transcom currently operates.
Right next to it is One Global Center, the present home of International BPO company StarTek. Also, within the building we will see an upcoming branch of Seven Eleven in Iloilo Business Park. Right across One Global Center will rise One Techno Place and Two Techno Place, additional BPO buildings to cater call center companies as the township position itself as the region’s biggest IT Park. On the right side of the boulevard is the luxurious Richmonde Hotel Iloilo set for June 2015 grand opening. Richmonde will be the first international brand of hotel to pamper Ilonggo and visitors in time for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit side events in iloilo this year.
